LAFIA —THE Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) Senator George Akume has called upon the speakers of the North Central Zone of the country to synergy with their various governor’s in the zone to bring a out peace unity and rapid development in the zone.

Akume who spoke when he hosted North Central Speakers in Abuja, said such synergy has become imperative for effective peace and speedy development.

The SGF while congratulating the lawmakers for their emergence as Speakers in their various States during the recently concluded elections and inaugurations across the country reminded them on the tasked ahead.

He noted that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has passion for the country’s economy, security and other aspects of the society and is poised to deliver on his mandate and will like to see that translate across states of the federation.

The Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly Rt.Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi who spoke on behalf of others said their visit was to congratulate him on his appointment and wish him success been a leader from the region.

Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi assured the SGF of the resolved by Speakers of State Houses of Assembly of the North Central region to partner with their Governors and by extension the judiciary for peace, unity and speedy development to thrive in their various states.

Accompanied the Nasarawa State House of Assembly Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi from the state were Majority Leader of the House Hon. Muhammed Adamu Omadefu (APC KEANA) and the Minority Leader of the House Hon. Musa Ibrahim Abubakar (NNPP Doma South).
