Vice-President Kashim Shettima Appoints Hakeem Baba Ahmed Special Adviser on Political Matters

Hakeem Baba, the elder brother of Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, the vice-presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), has assumed the role of Special Adviser on political matters to Vice-President Kashim Shettima.

This appointment was made public by Hakeem Baba Ahmed himself through his official social media handle.

Hakeem Baba Ahmed formerly the spokesperson of the Northern Elders Forum (NEF), graciously accepted this new responsibility, emphasizing the critical importance of unity and support for the nation during these challenging times.

He expressed his commitment to the role by stating, “It is time to make it public that I have accepted the call to serve as Special Adviser (Political) to the VP, @KShettim.

This is not the time for fence-sitting or criticism when you can be useful in turning the country around. I am honored and humbled. Please pray for me & Nigeria.”
