Vice-President Kashim Shettima has reaffirmed President Bola Tinubu’s administration’s unwavering commitment to poverty reduction and economic rejuvenation during the unveiling of the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) headquarters in Abuja.

In his address at the inauguration, Shettima emphasized that Tinubu’s government is strategically concentrating on fostering job creation, facilitating access to capital, promoting economic growth, and eradicating poverty to reinvigorate the nation’s economy.

“The federal government, under President Tinubu’s leadership, remains resolute in its commitment to safeguard businesses operating within the country,” stated the vice president.

Shettima underscored the important role played by enterprises in society, highlighting their significance as a barometer for gauging the government’s trajectory and the pace at which it’s progressing.

“This moment solidifies President Bola Tinubu’s assurance to protect our enterprises. It resonates deeply within our economic revitalization plan,” Shettima remarked.

He further stressed Tinubu’s focus on job creation, enhancing capital accessibility, fostering economic growth, and eradicating poverty as the fundamental pillars of their strategy to reinvigorate the economy.

“While navigating this path will necessitate difficult decisions, they are indispensable to our success,” Shettima added.
