Senators Adeyemi , Sabi Abdullahi enjoin Nigerians to rally round Tinubu

Senators Smart Adeyemi ( APC Kogi West ) and Aliyu Sabi Abdullahi ( APC Niger North), have called on Nigerians to rally round the President – elect , Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and the Vice President – elect , Senator Kashim Shettima for greater future for the country .

The two Senators made the calls separately on Wednesday in Abuja after official declaration of Tinubu and Shettima as President and Vice President – elect of the federal republic of Nigeria by Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission ( INEC) , Professor Mahmood Yakubu .

Specifically , Senator Adeyemi at a media briefing after Senate Plenary , said emergence of Tinubu for the Nation’s presidency at this critical time , is a wellcome development .

According to him , by pedigree and track records , Tinubu has the Midas touch to turn things around for better in the country .

” Tinubu is a detribalized and visionary Nigerian who will take the country to greater heights in all areas of development . He did it in Lagos as governor from 1999 to 2007 .

” He is a bridge builder whose leadership style , will unite Nigerians and facilitate prosperity and genuine development .

” The Vice President – elect , Kashim Shettima has similar track records .

” Great future definitely lies ahead for Nigeria and Nigerians under these leaders who are not unmindful of the pains citizens are passing through”, he said .

Senator Sabi Abdullahi in his own comment, said he believed strongly Tinubu’s vision of renewed hope for Nigeria and Nigerians .

” It my firm belief that your vision of “Renewed Hope” would consolidate and deliver on the policies of our great party already initiated by the administration of His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari”, he said .
