Senator Orji Kalu Mourns Ata 1 Of Uturu, HRH Eze Linus Okafor

Former Abia State Governor and lawmaker representing Abia North Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, has commiserated with the family of Eze Linus Okafor, the Ata 1 of Uturu, over the death of the traditional ruler.

Kalu in a statement on Tuesday, also condoled with the people of Okamba and Uturu in general over the death of the traditional ruler of Umuratta Autonomous community in Uturu, Abia State, noting that the late traditional ruler served with humility and wisdom.

“On behalf of the people of Abia North Senatorial District, I wish to express my condolences to the good people of Okamba and Uturu in general over the death of their traditional ruler, HRH Eze Linus Okafor, the Ata 1 of Uturu.

“HRH Eze Okafor was a humble man who served his people with love and wisdom.”

While praying for the peaceful repose of his soul, Senator Kalu, who is the Chairman of Senate Committee on Privatization, prayed God to grant the immediate family and the good people of Okamba the fortitude to bear the loss.
