Senator Oluremi Tinubu Assures Women and Girls of quality life

The Senator representing Lagos central senatorial district in the National Assembly and wife of the All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Senator Oluremi Tinubu has assured Nigerian women and girls of quality life and development if her husband is elected president in the forthcoming presidential election in February.
This assurance was made at the distribution of empowerment and grants to women in her Senatorial District.
The project was facilitated in conjunction with the Office of the Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
She said that the initiative was to support and complement their efforts.
Represented by Hon Wahab Alawiye-King, Senator Tinubu noted that the programme was organised in line with the Millennium Development Goals for provision of necessary materials for the women.
Also speaking at the event, APC Chieftain, Prince Tajudeen Olusi described Senator Oluremi Tinubu as someone with a large heart adding that her position will be difficult to fill in the State.
The APC National Women Leader, Dr Betta Edu encouraged Lagosians and women in particular to reciprocate the gesture with massive support for Asiwaju at the poll.
According to her, empowering women is a major process in building the nation.
In her welcome address, the Chairman of Iru-Victoria Island Local Council Development Area, Rasheedat Abiodun Adu, said empowerment of the people of Lagos Central Senatorial District has become a ritual for Senator Tinubu.
Mrs Iyabo Amusan who spoke on behalf of the beneficiaries, assured of judicious use of the materials while promising massive votes for the party in February 25th, 2023.
