Senate begins screening of ministerial nominees

The Senate has begun screening and confirmation of ministerial nominees, presented by President Bola Tinubu for consideration and approval.

Citypost.ng reports that 16 of the nominees were listed for screening today.

The nominees listed are : Sen.Abubakar Kyari – (Borno State) Abubakar Eshiokpekha Momoh – (Edo State),Nyesom Wike – (Rivers State ),Prof.

Joseph Utsev – (Benue State),Sen. John Enoh -( Cross River)

Others are Bello Muhammad (Sokoto), Mohammed Abubakar – (Jigawa State)Amb.

Yusuf Maitama – (Bauchi State),Sen. Abubakar Danladi – (Taraba)Uju-Ken Ohaneye ( Anambra),Dr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo (Ondo).

Others are Dr. Bett Edu (Cross River), Imaan Sulaiman (Nasarawa),Arch. Ahmed Musa Dangiwa – Katsina State Chief Uche Geoffrey Nnaji (Enugu) and Stella Okotete (Delta)

Earlier, Senate had suspended its rule to allow the nominees and visitors into the chamber.
