Sen Echocho mourns demise of ex-Kogi East Senator, Alex Kadiri

The lawmaker representing Kogi East in the red chamber senator Isah Jibrin Echocho has expressed grief over the death of a former Kogi East Senator, Dr Alex Usman Kadiri, who passed away in Abuja after a brief illness.

Sen Echocho in a personally signed statement which he made available to newsmen in Abuja on friday described the deceased as a dedicated politician and public servant who recorded significant milestones as Senator.

According to him, Senator Kadiri was an elder statesman, a devoted public servant, and a pillar of support to his community.

The statement reads, “I received the sad news of the death of former Senator Alex Usman Kadiri with a heavy heart.

“Senator Alex Usman Kadiri was a committed leader, a dedicated politician and public servant who contributed immensely to the development of Kogi East senatorial district.

Echcho reiterated his deepest sympathies adding that he stands in solidarity with the deceased family, the good people of Odu, and Kogi State as they mourn the loss of an elder statesman.

The lawmaker prayed for the repose of the soul of Senator Alex Kadiri and for God to grant the family and his loved one’s solace to bear this irreparable loss at this trying time, he concluded.
