Security, Education agric others ‘ll top agenda in my government if— SDP Guber

LAFIA THE Governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Nasarawa state, Muhammad Alfa Mustapha, said his administration would place emphasis on security, Education Agricultural programmes even as other critical sectors would be also be given priority in the state
He said, the SDP government would catch on the faiure of the APC government in the state to establish agro-allied cottage industries across the three senatorial zones of the state.
The party Governorship candidate who spoke during a media dialogue to flag off the campaign rally for the party in the state.
According to the SDP flag bearer, the party’s manifesto would be anchored on harnessing the natural resources to grow the economy, especially the agricultural sector.
Mustapha also pointed out that he would set up a strong and efficient security network where 5,000 youths will be employed as neighbourhood watch crime guards to secure all communities in Nasarawa state, if he is elected.
He also announced ta arms would be purchased and distributed to other institutionalized security agencies to complement the federal efforts at fighting rimes and criminality in the state.
“We will complement the federal government efforts by supplying arms to the security agencies and these arms will only be use in Nasarawa state for the benefit of our people” , The SDP Guber candidate declared.
The SDP governorship candidate added that if given the mandate he will declare state of emergency on primary education as a deliberate policy and steps toward revamping the basic educational foundation in the state
“Our government if elected will provide mortgage for teachers for purchase of vehicles, build houses to enhance the quality of living and improve on the glorified educational sector in Nasarawa.We will build an institution that will be greater than individuals which is currently the practice with the government in power”, mohammed assured the people.
