Sallah: Hon Manding pray with constituent, tasks citizens to pray for Gov. Sule, Tinubu Others

The Nasarawa State All Progressives Congress, APC member representing Wamba state constituency in the state House of Assembly, Hon. Emmanuel Ezikel Manding on Sunday prayed with his constituent admonishing Muslims in particular and Nigerians across the country to pray for Governor Abdullahi Sule, President Bola Tinubu and others in position of authority to succeed and take the nation out of its present quagma.

Otaru on a Sallah message made available to Journalists in Lafia, said Nigerians should internalise the lessons of sacrifice inherent in Eid-el-adha celebration.

Manding counsel Nigerians to practice the act of obedience inherent in the sallah celebration with a view to allowing their prayers attract the attention of Allah towards given the leaders the wisdom, resilience and the ability to reign in all spheres of life in the country.

“Dear beloved people of Wamba constituency, I Hon. Emmanuel Ezekiel Manding respectful felicitate with my Muslim constituents on this blessed occasion of Eid al-Adha.

I am delighted to send warmest greetings and best wishes to you all on this auspicious day. Eid al-Adha, known as the “Festival of Sacrifice,” which reminds us of the importance of faith, compassion, and selflessness in our lives.

As we celebrate this day, let us remember the sacrifices of our forefathers and strive to emulate their virtues. Let us also use this opportunity to promote peace, love, and unity among our people.

“This Eid signal sacrifice, humility and obedience to Almighty Allah, so I urge Nigerians to remain dedicated to piety, integrity, humility and to see selflessness as the hallmark of sacrifice that will enable us to have a better society.

He highlighted the significance of the celebration, noting that it provides an opportunity to invoke God’s blessings on Nigerian leaders and reiterated his administration’s commitment to guiding, guarding, and protecting all citizens.

“I, therefore felicitate with all Muslims and also Nigerians on this very occasion. I urged all to pray for success of the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, governor Abdullahi Sule and other Nigerians saddled with the authorities to govern Nigeria as a country”.

The ruling APC lawmaker also urged citizens to abide by the law and respect government policies aimed at restructuring the state for a conducive business atmosphere.

“Eid El Kabir comes with great lessons of sacrifice, love and togetherness as such we all must build these virtues across divides to build a society that we all cherish.

Hon. Manding admonished the Muslim in Nasarawa State and Nigeria at large to offer a strong hand of friendship to one another showing the footsteps that the Holy Prophet Muhammad left for all to follow.

“As we celebrate Eid El Kabir, it is our firm believer that more of the dividends of democracy and brotherliness will continue to abide. Let us continue to pray for our leadership to have the direction of the Almighty Allah in all their decisions”.
