Renowned Nollywood Producer Andy Best Passes Away

Renowned Nollywood producer Ikechukwu Nnadi, popularly known as Andy Best, has passed away after battling a prolonged illness. The news of his demise was confirmed at a private clinic in Owerri, the capital city of Imo State, on Tuesday.

The convener of the Best of Nollywood awards, Mr. Seun Oloketuyi, took to Instagram to announce the heartbreaking news, stating, “Andy Best, a top Nollywood producer and marketer, is dead.

He died in an Owerri hospital today.”

Andy Best was the Chief Executive Officer of Andy Best Production and was widely celebrated for his contributions to the Nigerian film industry.

He was the creative force behind several iconic movies, including “Lion of Africa,” “White Poison,” “My Father’s Cup,” and many others.

The late producer hailed from Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State.

Andy Best was known for his dedication to producing high-quality and impactful films that resonated with audiences across Nigeria and beyond.

Following his passing, his remains have been laid to rest at the Aladinma Mortuary in Owerri, as the Nollywood community mourns the loss of one of its most prolific and respected figures.
