Protesters ground business activities in Nasarawa state defy down pour

protesters in Nasarawa state Thursday join their counterparts to protest against bad governance, hunger, removal of fuel subsidy even as they grounded official, commercial activities in the state.

The protesters who carried placard with different inscription demonstrated through streets, especially in the state Capital, later escalated when protesters defied the perennial rainfall in Lafia to register their disatisfaction with bad governance, hunger and other hardship facing Nigerians.

In the popular UAC roed in the Lafia metropoli, Makurdi road and some of the flashed point were was hit where the police were throwing can gas to disperse the protesters.

The protesters who were mostly youths vowed to continue with the peaceful protest against end bad governance, insecurity, hunger and reversion of the removal of fuel subsidy, insisted that they should be allowed to express their feelings over the unbearable hardship in the country.

Apart from burning tyres, blocking major roads in major cities, the protesters refused to heed to the security order asking them to suspend the protest

Some of them with inscriptions such as End bad governance in Nigeria, restore fuel subsidy, crash high cost of food stuff, insecurity among others, also called on president Tinubu to personally address the nation on burning issues.
