President Tinubu signs N28.78tn 2024 appropriation bill into Law

President Bola Tinubu has signed the N28.7 trillion 2024 Budget into law at the State House, Abuja

He assented to the 2024 Appropriation Bill at a brief ceremony at the Presidential Villa in the presence of the President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon Tajudeen Abbas.

The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Atiku Abubakar, and the National Security Adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu, were also present.

The 2024 budget is N1.

2 trillion higher than the budget earlier proposed to the joint session of the National Assembly on November 29, 2023.
