PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS NEW LEADERSHIP TO REVAMP INFORMATION AND NATIONAL ORIENTATION SECTORS

In a bid to revitalize the nation’s information and national orientation sectors, President Bola Tinubu has given his nod to the appointment of eight key Chief Executive Officers for various Parastatals and Agencies under the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation.

This announcement was conveyed through an official press release issued by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity.

The appointments signal a fresh direction for these essential government bodies.

The newly appointed leaders are as follows:
National Orientation Agency (NOA)- Mr. Lanre Issa-Onilu assumes the role of Director-General / CEO, Nigerian Television Authority (NTA)- Mr.

Salihu Abdulhamid Dembos takes charge as the Director-General / CEO, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) – Dr. Muhammed Bulama is appointed as Director-General / CEO, National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) and Mr. Charles Ebuebu is entrusted with the position of Director-General / CEO.

Others are: Voice of Nigeria (VON)- Mr. Jibrin Baba Ndace becomes the Director-General / CEO, Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON) Dr. Lekan Fadolapo is designated as the Director-General / CEO, News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) – Mr. Ali Muhammed Ali will serve as the Managing Director / CEO and Nigerian Press Council (NPC)- Mr. Dili Ezughah takes up the role of Executive Secretary / CEO.

The President has charged these newly appointed leaders with the crucial task of spearheading innovation and driving the transformation of these pivotal government institutions. Their mission is to create new opportunities for the Nigerian populace, promote unity, reshape mindsets, and showcase the nation to the global stage.

It is worth noting that these appointments take immediate effect in accordance with the directives of President Tinubu, signaling a dynamic shift in these sectors crucial for Nigeria’s development and global presence.
