President Bola Tinubu Congratulates Senegal’s President-Elect Bassirou Diomaye Faye

President Bola Tinubu has officially extended his congratulations to Bassirou Diomaye Faye on his successful election as the President of the Republic of Senegal. This announcement came through a statement issued by Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, on Wednesday, March 27.

In the statement, President Tinubu expressed his warm regards to President-elect Faye, emphasizing his confidence in Faye’s capability to lead Senegal effectively.

He praised Faye’s remarkable track record and conveyed his best wishes for success as Faye assumes the significant responsibility of guiding the people of Senegal.

Furthermore, the President commended the incumbent President Macky Sall for overseeing an election process that has been widely acknowledged for its peaceful and transparent conduct.
