Police Launch Operation to Rescue 287 Kaduna Students Kidnapped by Bandits

In response to the recent abduction of 287 students from a school in Kaduna, the Kaduna State Command of the Nigeria Police Force has pledged to rescue the victims.

Mansir Hassan, the spokesperson of the Command, reassured the public of ongoing efforts to secure the safe return of the kidnapped students.

The abduction took place at the LEA Primary and Secondary School in Kuriga, Kaduna State, during an attack by bandits on Thursday.

“We are currently attending a security meeting, but the police tactical team has been deployed to pursue the criminals and rescue the victims,” Hassan stated, as quoted by Vanguard.

Security operatives have been mobilized and are conducting extensive search operations in the surrounding areas in an attempt to locate and rescue the abducted students.

In a separate statement, Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani expressed determination to ensure the safe return of the students, emphasizing that all necessary measures would be taken to achieve this objective.

The abduction of the students has sparked widespread concern and condemnation, with calls for urgent action to address the escalating insecurity in the region.
