Pep Guardiola and Wife Cristina Serra Announce Split After 30 Years Together

By Admin
Pep Guardiola, the renowned football manager, and his wife Cristina Serra have decided to end their relationship after more than three decades together. The couple’s separation, which was first reported by Spanish newspaper El Periodico on Monday, has been described as amicable, cordial, and stable.
Guardiola, 53, and Serra, 50, had been living apart for nearly five years, following Cristina’s move back to Barcelona in 2019 to focus on running her family’s fashion business, Serra Claret.
The couple, who first met in 1994, married in 2014 near Barcelona. Despite their long relationship, it is said that growing distance over the years—partly due to Guardiola’s demanding managerial roles in football—led to the decision to part ways.
Guardiola, currently residing in Manchester, and Serra, a Brazilian journalist, share three children: Maria (24), Marius (22), and Valentina (17). While Guardiola remains in Manchester, Serra has lived in Barcelona with their youngest daughter, Valentina.
Though separated, the couple reportedly spent Christmas together with their children, maintaining a strong family bond.
The decision to divorce was made in December 2024, with close friends and family being informed and asked to respect their privacy during this difficult time.
