Parents calls for Investigation into Mysterious Death of 22-Year-Old at Boyfriend’s Residence

The family of 22-year-old Ginika Judith Okoro a nurse is requesting for a thorough investigation into the sudden and mysterious demise of their only daughter who passed away under puzzling circumstances while visiting her boyfriend, Charles Ndukwu, in Ezeogba, Awaka, Owerri North local government area of Imo State.

According to Ndukwu, Ginika became unresponsive after consuming pepper soup he had purchased for her. Despite rushing her to Edochie Clinic, Awaka, she was pronounced dead upon arrival by the attending physician.

Mr. Nneji, Ginika’s stepfather, echoed the family’s shock and sorrow, emphasizing the need for a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death.

Ndukwu has been remanded by the police for further questioning and investigation.
