Obuebite Congratulates Senator Dickson At 57, describes him as a Quintessential Political Leader

The former Commissioner for Education, Bayelsa state, Dr Jonathan Obuebite has hailed Senator Henry Seriake Dickson at 57, describing him as an enigma and a lover of his people and a quintessential political leader.

He said that Senator Dickson is being celebrated for his uncommon leadership qualities which endear him to the youth and the old as well.

He also praised the former Governor who currently represents Bayelsa West in the National Assembly for being a stickler for discipline, prudence and hardwork which he instilled in his followers.

He noted that Dickson loves education with so much passion that he established two universities, a polytechnic and established for the first time model secondary schools.

He recalled how the former Governor established the Ijaw National Academy and offered scholarships to students from all the five other states of Ondo, Edo, Delta, Rivers and Akwa Ibom to which the Ijaws are indigenous.

He described Dickson as visionary leader, a mentor to him and other youths who encountered him and brought the best out of them.

“Today marks another milestone in the life of a distinguished and accomplished gentleman, a great countryman with an uncommon and incomparable leadership prowess that captivates both the youngest and oldest of minds.

“You are celebrated by Bayelsans and Nigerians, because we all appreciate and recognize your patriotic, selfless, humanitarian and loyal disposition to your fatherland and most especially your love for God, in your words ” He Serveth God well, He who Serveth man well.

“Your political sagacity, genuine commitment to development (mostly Education), unity, peace of your dear State (Bayelsa), and Nigeria as a whole, and the generosity of the spirit stands you out.

“As a leader, the discipline, prudence, perseverance, and hard work that you instilled in me, and others under your tutelage as the leader of our dear state is invaluable beyond description.

“I join your numerous admirers and the good people of Bayelsa State to congratulate you my Boss, Leader, Mentor, Political father and Elder brother – His Excellency, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, the Ofuruma-pepe (the Great White Shark) and immediate past governor of our great State, on the occasion of your 57th birthday. “
