Nurture Your Children To Shun Vices, Become Good Citizens -Akinwale

The President, Women Fellowship, Methodist Archdiocese of Abuja, Mrs Mopelola Akinwale, has called on mothers to nurture their children to be good citizens and shun vices, inimical to the society.

Addressing women at this year’s Mothering Sunday held at the Methodist Cathedral of Unity Wuse Abuja, Mrs Akinwale said though civilization has affected youths negatively, mothers should monitor the activities of their children.

She called on mothers not to be discouraged with the socio economic challenges but have the belief that things will soon get better.

The 2025 Golden Mother of the Church, Mrs Nkoyo Walter Onnoghen, stressed the need for mothers to love, obey, and submit to their husbands for absolute peace to reign in the family.

Mrs Onnoghen passionately urged mothers to cultivate the habit of praying for their husbands and children.

Highpoint of the event is the different categories of awards given to some women for their contributions to the development of women in the society.
