Nigeria Congratulates Incoming U.S. President Donald Trump

The Federal Republic of Nigeria has extended its congratulations to Donald Trump on his recent victory as the 47th President of the United States. In a statement from Nigeria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the government expressed its optimism for a strengthened partnership with the U.

S. under Trump’s leadership.

Signed by Ambassador Eche Abu-Obe, spokesperson for the Ministry, the message conveyed Nigeria’s confidence in President Trump’s administration to foster closer cooperation on global issues, particularly in areas of peace and security.

The Nigerian government also took the opportunity to commend Kamala Harris, the Democratic candidate in the recent election, for her dedication and achievements as Vice President.

Outgoing President Joe Biden was similarly acknowledged for his leadership and service to the American people.
