Yes ! Nobody would argue against it. No rhetorics, no playing to the gallery, far from mere theatrics, not even giving a dog a bad name just to hang it. It is real, not sureal.

It is true, so glaring, the blind could see it. Nigeria the beautiful damsel the British saw and fell for head long. So naive and innocent then. So natural, exuding the beauty of angels, no colonial master could resist.

Look at her side hairs. These are natural hairs depicting natural deposits. Hairs that showed the naturality of her Virgin natural resources which the west saw and refused to go, the primary cause of our dilemma presently if you ask me.

Look deeper, around those hair pores, on the surface of that skin are opening called follicle, where the oil that lubricates the hairs and skin drips from, making the hair lush and adorable.

The oil that made her stood out then as the Queen that made eyes turned, paid her bills and caused the influx of all races to her, Nigeria! A destination point for all then!!

Look at her hairs, those hairs, look like normal hairs. No! More than normal strands of hair.

They are raw material deposits, so productive, the future of Nigeria, so assured then.

Count the strands of hair on her face. Each strand represents the natural resources she was endowed with. The cocoa, the grandnuts, the gold, the Iron, zinc, the bitumen, Barites, Gypsum, Kaolin, Marble etc.

These are strands of hair that formed the good futune of Nigeria, through such minerals her bills were picked and those around her.

Those hairs though not mere hairs dripped with oil that made her looked that fresh and beautiful years ago.

Nigeria was beautiful! She was an amazon, very resplendent in her attair, no less designer’s exclusive.

A breathtaking sight to behold. She was elegant, her gait and carriage awesome. Sadly, all that are gone! She looks no better than a shadow of herself, scraggy, paled and malnutrished.

Those lushful hairs of natural endowments are falling off gradually, leaving her bare like drenched vultures, with a cheek flattened by nepotism, wrinkled by corruption, shriveled by impunity and gullied by mismanagement of public fund, bankrupted by the ostentatious lifestyle of our political class.

Her once gorgeous beauty suddenly became the joke of small African countries that were so ugly at the time Nigeria was Nigeria, untying her shoe laces by them was a privilege to them

Those who lived in the 60’s, in the 70’s the 80′ would by now be regurgitating the taste of free education, the bursary allowances, scholarships, oil boom etc they enjoyed. Nigeria was sweet, now she is mara,( bitterness) like a vulture drenched by the tsunami of high inflation, interest rates, corruption, stealing of public fund, her influence wanes and the appeal she had then diminished and ridiculed by countries at a time were considered a protégé.

Arise oh Nigeria! Your destiny to greatness calls! Arise oh Nigeria and embrace once again that image that gave you global visibility, placing you at par with USA and a big brother figures to most African countries.

Arise Nigeria from corruption! It has raped you in a cattywampus manner

Arise Nigeria from the bamboozle of PDP/APC Discombulation.
Arise you amazing country, blessed and endowed by nature, a vegetation where boiled seeds would still germinate and produce bountifully. Just to tell one how blessed Nigeria is!

There was a season messed up by the rascality of PDP and APC political lollygag. A season of abundance. A season of not knowing what to do with oil wind fall. That season though gone and messed up, second season of such abundance and overflow isn’t impossible.

Unto you oh lord, our gaze for a better future rest on.

Ashes for her beauty! Too bad a scenario, still ashes for her beauty. Cost of living skyrocketing by day, still ashes for her beauty. It may look game over, but the light flickering at the end of the tunnel, wouldn’t extinguished.
Arise Nigeria! Your light though flickering, isn’t extinguished!!

Many have lost hope in you! But I have not and many more too have not. You are the only country we have. You must rise again!! Despite the PDP/ APC years of discombulation!!
