Niger people want Prof. Kailani to contest for APC National chairmanship position

The Nupe Peoples’ Forum has appealed to the Director-General, Confederation of All Progressives Congress (APC) Support Groups, Prof Kailani Muhammad, to contest for the National Chairmanship position of the party.

The Coordinator of the forum, Mr Magana Muhammed Ibrahim made the call in a statement in Abuja on Tuesday.

Ibrahim said, “We, the good people of Niger State, Nigeria, have come out enmasse to make a passionate appeal to Prof.

“The call is coming on the heels of the news filtering from the APC, as to whether Dr Umar Ganduje, former governor of Kano state, will remain as APC National Chairman or bow out because of presure.

“To ensure that the Prof. Kailani Muhammad for APC National Chairman
project sails through without hindrance, NIger state people harp their argument on the fact that, the position is zoned to the North Central Zone, to compensate for the Abddullahi Adamu:s uncompleted tenure.”

The coordinator said that the Nupe people of Niger State where the amiable, humble, juggernaut politician and grassroots mobiliser, Prof. Kailani came from, described him as the most qualified for the exalted position from the zone.

“They say it fits the adage of putting a square peg in a square hole.

“The people are saying that, the Professor is the most trusted politician from the zone that can deliver on that mandate, hence, their unwavering support for the noble cause.

“It could be said without fear of contradiction that,the choice of Prof Kailani for the post of National Chairmanship of the APC, is the best thing that can happen to the ruling APC as a formidable political force in Nigeria and indeed, the African continent, an APC stalwart ( who preferred not to named) from the zone said.

“This submission is hinged on the tripod of Prof. Kailani:s track record as a stategic achiever, a tested human resource manager and conflict resolution expert.

“Prof. Kailani has traversed through all the complex political landscapes of Nigeria, from grassroots. to leadership levels. He has been through many political storms and corporate business management as a successful entrepreneur.

“He is the Chairman/ CEO, The Liberators News Magazine, National Cordinator, National Democratic Party (NDP),
The Buhari Support Organisation, (Akasa, Ajira, Araka Atsare) Coordinator, All Nigerian Peoples Party (ANPP), founding member and stalwart, Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) and National Chairman, Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTFF).

“In the same vein, Prof. Engr. Kailani Muhammad, was the Director, Media and Publcity, Presidential Support Group (PSG), throughout former president Muhammadu Buhari’s tenure.

“He is the National Chairman, Tinubu/Shettima Network (TSN), Director General, Amalgamated APC Support Groups (AASG) and the Director General, Confederation of APC Support Groups (CASG), with over 180,000 support groups under his capacity leadership.”

According to him, his sojourn with Gen. Muhammad Buhari, former president of Nigeria, as a loyal disciple, through 2003 to 2023, has tremendously equipped him with the vestitutes of quality leadership that the APC craves for in order to put its house in order at this trying moments.

“Let it be underlined that, the root causes of intra-party contradictions in Nigeria, APC inclusive, are rancour party primaries, imposition of candidates for elective offices, impunity, injustice and self serving interests with no clear ideologies

“Prof Kailani has an in built mechanism capacity to mitigate all these negative perspectives when given the opportunity as National Chairman of the greatest revolutionary political party in Africa.
