Nasarawa Assembly crisis: we ‘ll take sanctions against erring members—Karu APC stakeholders ,alleged conspiracy against gov. Sule, caution against fanning embers of crisis in Nasarawa

AS the crisis of speakership in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly continues to generate heat in the state, Karu Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Wednesday threaten that it sanction party members fanning embers of disunity, conspiracy, unguarded utterances and anti party activities in the area.
Chairman of Karu Local Government Council, James Thomas issued the threat while briefing newsmen, on behalf of the stakeholders in Karu.
According to the stakeholders who noted with concern the way and manner citizens were going about the crisis in the assembly if not checked were capable of degenerating Into breaching the peace of the state.
The stakeholders who declared their total support for the administration of governor Abdullahi Sule also added that they were fully behind the party and the choice of Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi as Speaker of the 7th Nasarawa State House of Assembly.
The local government Chairman explained that the choice of Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi was to stabilize the assembly and to give the assembly focus as Speaker after due consultation with all stakeholders and party loyalists.
Thomas who accused the immediate past council Chairman, and the immediate past Senior Special Adviser to the governor on Rural Development, Samuel Akala said that the utterances by Samuel Akala, during the recent media appearance allegedly cast aspersions, disparaged the governor and misledinv the public over state Assembly leadership crisis was not acceptable.
“We, therefore, want to use this press conference to distance ourselves on behalf of the good people of Karu, from the utterances’ made by the former chairman of our local government against our amiable and hardworking Governor.
“We unequivocally state that the utterances and actions of Hon. Akala are uncalled for and unfortunate and he would be sanctioned appropriately,” Thoma said.
He appealed to the citizens of the state especially the political gladiators to toe the part of peace as the governor was doing everything possible to resolve the lingering speakership crisis in the assembly.
