Days back, he called me. Quite unusaul of him. He hadly calls, always minding his bussiness and effectively discharging his duties as the chairman of our Cooperative. A jolly good fellow with an open mind deviod of guile and resentment.

He likes drinkng perhaps one of the things that gives him joy and excitement. For him alchol has saved many families from falling apart, drink alchol and have a peaceful marriage.

Drink alcohol and run away from the pains and challenges that are more of an anchillary of Tinibu’ administration are two slogans he wears around his neck like sacred totems.

Notharam represents diligence, commitment, efficiency and integrity. I have had course to interrogate him, though he looks easy going and carefree, his boundaries which one would never cross is clearly delineated.

Back to the conversation I had with him for over one hour that opened my eyes. It was about 7pm , I needed to get some clarifications from him on some of the transactions we did in our Cooperative. He posted something that I deamed misleading. If not corrected could possibly put him on a very bad light.

I chatted him up and he eventually corrected the mistake without saying thank you.

Immediately I called his attention to it and demanded for a bottle of Hero beer. What Notharam said to me after scared me. He told me to come over to a particular eatery, newly opened around a particular axis in town that shares boundary with a small river. This river over time is known for its yearning and taste for human body. Severally many have been drown in it. What would Notharam be doing in that place around that time with five ladies which he called the Queen of the night.

He blew off my mind and scared my spirit when he told me what those ladies do and how he has benefited immensely from them. At first I thought he was up again with his usual jokes, but I discovered later how damn serious he was. At that point I decided to play along to unravel the mystery behind his personality.

I asked him what I stand to benefit coming out that late to hang out with him over a bottle of beer in the midst of five ladies that control the ecosystem of the small river around the eatery. A lot, was his prompt reply. He said it in a matter of fact way, showing how involved he is with them.

He told me how they have made him rich over night. At this point I believed him. Notharam before now struggled with finances, barely stringing along. Like a bang, it seems he hit one honey pot somewhere that drips constantly the honey of cash for him. It was so fast and evidential those close to him began to suspect him as putting his hands in the coffers of the Cooperative he is the chairman.

One surprising thing is, Notharam does not sleep with them. He said to me clearly how he has been faithful to his wife and never cheated on her. His relationship with those ladies of the River is transactional. He will make them happy and they will grant him his wishes. How true is this? Do you think Notharam is being sincere in this conversation? Is it possible to have dealings with ladies of water spirit without getting intimate and still get them use their magical powers to bless one? Do you think that Notharam represents a greater percentage of men who are out there, whose source of wealth are hazy and suspicious?

Watch out for part two for more revelations on how people make quick cash with the ladies of the River.
