My Charge To NON APC Nigerians
By Jarlath Uche Opara
The situation is squeezing. The economy very crushing. Each day that passes, we get pressed, wringed and dried under the scorching heat of hardship.
Either we are squashed by the rising cost of living or crumpled by the hike of fuel price.
Nothing seems mild, harsh and roughness everywhere. Nothing gives peace of mind, trepidation, fear and frustration staring at us each day.
Like a balloon, tossed up and down by waves and whirlwind of the woes of our economic reality, we have become!
Turned into feathers by this administration.
But there is a hope that never fails. A hope rooted in Christ, against the reality of life and situations, this hope is always hopeful.
Even when it seems hoping against hope, the rays of light from this hope brighten the dimmed, the dark and the not too illuminuned hearts of many.
It is this hope that would inspire this song in anyone.
“My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus’ blood and righteousness
I dare not trust the sweetest frame
But wholly lean on Jesus’ name”
On Christ the solid rock I stand
All other ground is sinking sand
All other ground is sinking sand
When darkness veils his lovely face
I rest on His unchanging grace
In every high and stormy gale
My anchor holds within the veil”
Go look for the full verse of this song and sing it with faith, daily, trust me you will be fine.
2Corinthians 4:8-9 is my charge for you. In it your testimony is structured in: “We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.
It is your testimony, for in all things you are an overcomer and more than conqueror.
Envy not APC members. Though they have cards and tellers that give them leverage, protect them from the scorching sun of cost of living etc.
Remain resolute, our country will be better again and the true Nigerians who are sincere, patriotic etc with no deception in them would eat the fruits of the land.
To those who think that Nigeria is that country God called Abraham out from, no it is rather that land of promise that took the Israelites 40years instead of 40 days to enter. We are still trekking, soon we would get there! Be strong!
