The Ministerial Nominee from Edo State , Abubakar Momoh says the nation needs to diversity its resources to adequately maintain its road infrastructure.

He stated this while fielding questions from newsmen after the screening by lawmakers in the Senate.

He explained that the country’s over reliance on oil does not portend much good for its development saying that the nation needs to diversify it’s economy from over dependence on oil to have enough capital to develop the roads.

Momoh called on state governors to pay greater attention to roads across their states instead of depending solely on the federal government for maintenance.

On the issue of Education, Momoh who applauded president Tinubu’s current education policy noted that any other from another individual would be counter productive to the nation, stating that there is the need for continuity in the policy.
