Man, wife nabed for brutalizing young girl in Borno

Borno State Government has promptly arrested a man and his wife for brutally molesting a female child seen in a viral video The incident, according to the report, took place in Pompomari bypass near Askira Close, Maiduguri.

According to our news sources, the state government through the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development deployed a staff member who helped secured the girl and provided emergency food assistance to the girl and her family.

The girl is currently receiving treatment at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital. The bill for the treatment is being covered by Dr. Lawan Bukar Alhaji, according to Babakura Gadai, who volunteered to speak to TMSnews

The cause of brutalisation was not immediately known. However, the police have arrested the man and his wife for the inhuman act.
