Lets tackle Nigerians hardship with our positions now—Nasarawa Speaker tells leaders ****as NDE DG, ALGON President, monarchs, others bury late LG Chairman

Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau has urged leaders in the country to use their positions to address the hardship being faced by Nigerians.
Speaking at the funeral service of the former chairman of Kokona Local Government, Hon. Saidu Kurki Kazi at ECWA Good News, Garaku, RT Hon. Jatau stressed the urgent need for all those saddled with positions of authority to rise to the hardship Nigerians were going through.
“We must stop paying lip service to the situation our people are into now. The situation is going out of hands as Nigerians can hardly have what to give to their families now”, the lawmaker lamented
Speaker Jatau, who hails from the local government led members of the State House of Assembly to ECWA Good News Garaku for ;the funeral rites to bid farewell to the one time State Director of Livestock.
The Speaker who eulogized the good virtues of late Saidu Kurki Kazi prayed God to forgive his shortcomings and reward his good deeds with paradise.
” We are here to bid farewell to one time Chairman of Kokona LGA, my own local government, Hon Saidu Kurki Kazi. His death was very shocking but God gives life and takes at will. We urge the family and Kokona LGA to take solace in God” Jatau stated.
The Speaker prayed to God to forgive all his shortcomings and grant him eternal rest emphasized that the deceased left an indelible life worthy of emotions.
Also speaking, the Director General, National Directorate of Employment, Dr Silas Agara who noted that Saidu Kurki Kazi served the people of Kokona local government and the State diligently reminded leaders at different strata of the society that they will be judged by posterity and above all the God’s judgement.
Member representing Kokona East constituency at the State Assembly Hon. Daniel Oga Ogazi, Chairman of Kokona Local Government, Hon. Awalu Adamu and the Traditional Ruler of the area, HRH the Abaga Toni Lawrence Ayi, all attested that Saidu Kurki Kazi was an advocate of justice and prayed God to forgive his shortcomings and grant him a merciful judgement.
On his part the National President of ALGON and Chairman, Lafia LG,. Hon. Aminu Mu’azu Maifata who led other Executive Chairmen of local governments in the state to the funeral, recalled the good virtues of the deceased and called on his children to emulate his good deeds.
Earlier in a sermon with the theme “There is Judgment after Death” the Rev. of the Church, Bitrus Kaya who called on Christians to reconcile themselves with God as death is inevitable and judgement day is sacrosanct prayed God to forgive the deceased of his shortcomings and grant him paradise.
