Lets imbibe spirit of forgiveness, leave impactful life,-Nasarawa Speaker.

Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau on Saturday called on Nigerians to imbibed the spirit of forgiveness, leave an impactful lives that will translate to a better society.

This, the Speaker said forgiven each other will prepare each an everyone for heavenly race as death is inevitable and can come at anytime.

RT Hon Speaker spoke at the funeral mass in honour of Mama Ann Asibi Kuje mother of a Senior Correspondent of News Agency of Nigeria NAN, Chief Awayi Kuje held at Saint Louis Catholic Church Ezhiba in Nassarawa Eggon LGA

Rt.

Hon. Danladi Jatau who led former and serving state lawmakers to st Louis Catholic Church Ezhiba to pray for repose soul of the deceased, called on Nigerians to leave an impactful life worthy of emulation.

“We sympathized with mama’s family, we sympathized with our brother, today is not a speech making day, when death occurred, what usually comes to our mind is who is next, because death is inevitable to every mortal

” Let have forgiving spirit, let always forgive each other” the Speaker stated

The funeral mass also provided a platform for Frank conversations where the National President Eggon Cultural Development Association, Comrade David Abuluya accompanied by the National President of the Youth Wing of the association, Comrade Isaac Kigbu called on Eggon Nation to unite irrespective of political inclinations and support the present administration of Gov. Abdullahi Sule to succeed for the benefit of all.

Earlier in a homily, Rev. Father Lawrence Anyembugu reminded politicians that the era of rewarding political sycophants should be discarded to pave way for empowerment schemes and interventions to address hunger in the land, praying God to forgive the shortcomings of Mama Ann Asibi Abakyen Kuje.

In a word of appreciation, one of the sons of the deceased, Chief Awayi Kuje appreciated the Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau for identifying with the family at their moment of grief adding that thier late mother withered the storm to make them responsible citizens.

Mama Ann Asibi Abakyen kuje was thereafter committed to mother earth at the family compound at Ezhiba, Wakama, Akun Development Area of Nassarawa Eggon LGA.

It was however gathered that the event served as a reunion among political opponents in the area as it saw the former member representing Nassarawa Eggon East at the State Assembly Hon. Muhammed Agah Muluku and his successor Hon. Jecob Ajegena Kudu embraced each other in peace, unity and reconciliation thus attracting the gathering admiration.

It would be recalled that Ezhiba community in Wakama, Akun Development Area of Nassarawa Eggon this Saturday bubbled as politicians, philanthropists and community leaders converged to bid farewell to Mama Ann Asibi Abakyen Kuje, mother to Chief Awayi Kuje, a journalist attached with the Nasarawa State House of Assembly.

Interestingly, the funeral turned out to be a joyful moment, celebrating a fulfilled life at 81 of a woman who died as an accomplished mother with 7 children 36 grand and Great Grand children with array of testimonies, eulogizing her virtuous life style.
