Last Batch of Pilgrims Airlifted from Kwara

The last batch of one hundred and ninety (190 ) intending pilgrims from Kwara state have been airlifted to Saudi Arabia to perform year 2023 Holly pilgrimage.

Addressing the intending pilgrims at the Ilorin International Airport ,the executive secretary,Kwara State Muslims Pilgrims Welfare Board,Alhaji Abdulkadir Abdulsalam advised them to be good ambassador of the state .

He called on them to use the period to pray for peace ,Unity and development in the country .

In a remark the Year 2023- Amirul Hajj for Kwara state ,the Etsu Patigi, Alhaji Ibrahim Umar Bologi, expressed joy with the successfull completion of the airlifting of intending pilgrims.

He urged the airport authorities and airline operators to urgently resolve their differences and ensure the airlifting of intending pilgrims from ilorin international Airport resume.

Alhaji Ibrahim Bologi also called on the airline operator to have a schedule for smooth operation.

In his comment the Manager Ilorin international Airport,Mr Ogini Olatayo noted arrangements are on to ensure subsequent airlifting of intending pilgrims and their return journey will be through ilorin international Airport.
