The Nigeria Police Force has successfully apprehended two female suspects, Joseph Joy Adama and Vandora Davies Oreoluwa Favour, on charges related to the murder and robbery of Adeniyi Ojo, a prominent figure in Ilorin, Kwara State.

Both suspects are students at Kwara State Polytechnic and were presented to the public by the Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, during a press conference in Abuja on Wednesday.

These arrests were made on October 6, 2023, following a meticulous operation conducted by operatives of the Force Intelligence Tactical Team and the Intelligence Special Tactical Squad.

The investigation ultimately led to the discovery of the suspects in Mowe Ibafo, Ogun State.

The tragic incident unfolded when the suspects allegedly enticed Adeniyi Ojo into a compromising situation under the guise of a sexual encounter. Subsequently, they demanded money from the victim, but when he did not comply, they resorted to drugging and suffocating him, leading to his untimely death, as outlined by the Force PRO.

During questioning by journalists, one of the suspects, Adama, confessed to having a sexual relationship with the deceased. She revealed that on that particular day, their intention was to steal from him.

However, when their victim did not cooperate, they resorted to drugging him and left with his belongings, only to later discover his lifeless body.
