Kogi East NASS workers honour Senator Echocho

Executive members of National Assembly staff from Kogi East have honoured the Senator representing the senatorial district, Isah Jibrin Echocho for adequate representation.

The workers who were led by their president, Labija Daniel Jones said the were impressed by the way the senator is carrying the constituents along irrespective of political party, religious and other affiliations.

Mr. Daniel said the members were happy the way the senator sponsored many motions, particularly the motion hr moved on Tuesday May 21, 2024 to bring to the attention of the whole world the killings in Agojeju Odo, Ajokpachi Odo, Bagaji and Bagana communities, all in Omala Local Government Area of Kogi state.

Senator Jibrin in the motion said over 500 people were killed in those attacks while about 30,000 persons were displaced.

The workers were equally impressed by the way fertilizers, rice and other items were distributed to people of the constituency recently by the senator without discrimination.

They said assistance rendered to the constituents back home by Senator Jibrin has relieved them of a lot of pressure from their relations.

Senator Jibrin told the officials of the workers that he will continue to do his best to represent the various interests of the constituents and render any assistance to the best of his ability.
