Kano state senator tasks Politicians on Party Loyalty

The Deputy Minority Whip of the Senate , Senator Rufai Hanga ( NNPP Kano Central ) , declared in Abuja on Wednesday that party loyalty is very necessary for all politicians.

Hanga who stated this to Journalists at the side line of Award Ceremony organized by NASSnews said his loyalty to any party he pitches his tent with, over the years at different periods ; has been his greatest .

” My loyalty to party membership and leadership since 1978, has been my greatest asset.

“I have been in politics for a very long time.

“So long as I agree to belong to a party, I should be loyal and certainly must do my best to give an example for those coming behind us.

“Lack of Party loyalty among members , breeds crisis within parties and by extension, in the polity . I therefore urge politicians to treat the issue of party loyalty , more seriously “, he said .

On the Leadership in Legislative impact award bestowed on him, he said he felt encouraged and motivated to do more for his constituents .
