Just in: Ganduje in Nasarawa, Commissions three 1.7 km roads in Akwanga ***says Sule remain asset to Nigeria, hails performance in four years

National Chairman of the ruling All progressive Congress APC, Abdullahi Ganduje Saturday commissioned three 1.7 km roads in Akwanga Local government Area of Nasarawa State.

Speaking at the inauguration of the roads network and the remodeled Government Lodge, the APC National Chairman urged residents and citizens of Nasarawa State to support the administration of Governor Abdullahi Sule describing him as an asset to the state and the nation.

The former Governor of Kano State said governor Sule has not only show commitment and capacity in the the transformation of Nasarawa State, but proved his outstanding leadership qualities in various sphere nationwide.

The APC National Chairman while commending Gov. Abdullahi Sule for embarking on the laudable projects, said the projects executed by the APC government would improve on the standard of living of the people of the area and the State at large and called on citizens to give him more support.

According to Ganduje, after developing Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital, which was created out of Plateau State, the next in line is to select some big towns like Akwanga.

“You can see how development is trickling down to the people. I am happy for this lodge, completed and fully furnished so that important personalities will come and dialogue, start and discuss issues of development pertaining to this local government area and others under this senatorial district,” he stated.

Ganduje pointed out that the edifice adds value to infrastructural facilities, giving Akwanga a face-lift.

“I’m so happy to be here because of this great, important project. The whole idea of creating a state is for the distribution of development across the country. So, seeing is believing,” he said.

In his speech, Governor Abdullahi Sule said the idea behind the initiative is to construct similar projects in all the three senatorial zones of the state, to comfortably accommodate visitors.

“We have completed the one in Keffi. Of course the lodge in Lafia has been completed and furnished. Akwanga happens to be the headquarters of the Nasarawa North senatorial zone. It is historical for us that you are going to commission three projects in Akwanga,” he said.

Governor Sule said the APC National will also commission three roads namely Dankanzo road, Baba Alago Street and Central Mosque road, estimated at 1.7km, serving to connect neighborhoods in Akwanga.

“That is the idea of bringing you here Your Excellency, to help us and this is very historical for us, that it is the national chairman of our party that is commissioning these projects,” Governor Sule said.

The Governor explained that the national chairman will also commission the newly built TUC House, wholly constructed by his administration as manifestation of the cordial relationship existing between the government and organized labour.

The event had in attendance the Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly Rt.Hon. Danladi Jatau, Sen. Tanko Almakura, State Chief Judge Justice Aisha Bashir Aliyu among others.
