INEC FORMALLY OPENS RESULTS COLLATION CENTRE, ADJOURNS TILL 6PM

Formal opening of the 2023 National Collation Centre begins in Abuja. INEC Nigeria Chairman, Prof. Mahmoud Yakubu currently giving his opening remarks.

Here, you’ll hear directly from the horse’s mouth, state by state results by State Collation Officers for Presidential Election (SCOPE) and final declaration of results by the Returning Officer/INEC CHAIRMAN.

Proceedings adjourned till 6pm today, as no results from states has arrived the Centre.

He urged the media to desist from announcing results not approved by the Commission.

“Only INEC-sanctioned results are allowed and we are certain that by 6pm, one or two of the SCOPEs would have arrived,” he says.
