Idu in FCT hails gov’t for perdormance, seeks for social amenities

Although they hailed government for performance but Idu, the host community of Idu Industrial Area, Abuja the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has appealed to the government to provide them with infrastructural facilities to, enable them feel the impact of the FCT.

The Disteict Head of Idu, HRH Ishiaku Inrahim, the Viilage Head of Idu, Chief Muhammad Bawa Makama and the District Haead of Idu Sakada, HRH Isyaku Sarki Musa spoke to our correspondent after Ei del Fitir yearly celebration in the ancient community Friday.

On his part , the Idu District Head, Alhaji Ishiaku Ibrahim thanked government for providing riads in his district, but he was qhick to request for more roads and other amenities, to meet up with a large disteict like his.

Although, the Idu Village Head, Chief Muhammad Bawa Makama also commended the government for among others, the road and regular supply of electricity in his mommunity, but he however requested the government to be giving them land allocation for projects, like they have been doing for others. He said that it would be unfair to them not to see land where to site projects, if an organization offers to do one pronect or the other in his community for the benefit of the community.

Hailing those in his community for peaxeful cohabitation and advising them to learn to be forgiving sin, loving one another and maintaining peace, he said that with total adherance to the will of Allah, they stand the chance of finding favor from Him, even as he said thst it was the teaching of Islam.

The Hakimi Sakada, Isyaku Sarki Musa, when spoken to said that they use the feast to among others, promote peace and love, visit friends, worship and praise Allah, even as he enjoined those in his domain to strictly adheree to that.
