Honourable Jelani Danbuga, Passes Away After Brief Illness

Honourable Jelani Danbuga, the member representing the Isa-Sabon Birni federal constituency of Sokoto State under the banner of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has passed away.

Honourable Jelani Danbuga breathed his last around 12:30am on a Wednesday, after a brief illness.

According to reports, he was admitted to the hospital just the previous noon on Tuesday but sadly passed away early hours of today.

Aminu Almustapha further disclosed the plans for the late lawmaker’s final rites, stating, “His remains would be taken to the National Mosque for the bathing ritual, after which it would be flown to Sokoto for burial around 11 am.

Honourable Danbuga’s legacy is marked by his dedication to public service, and his untimely passing leaves a void in the political landscape. He is survived by two wives, many children, and grandchildren.
