Governor Radda Felicitates Katsina Indigene for Emerging Students’ Association President in Hungary

Governor Dikko Umaru Radda has congratulated Usman Arab, a Katsina State indigene, who emerged as President of the Association of Nigerian Scholarship Students in Hungary (ANSSIH).
The election which saw the emergence of Mr. Arab as leader of the Nigerian Students’ association took place last week Wednesday.
Arab, who hails from Katsina local government area of the State, is studying Mechanical Engineering at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
The Katsina youth is in his third year.
Responding to the news of Arab’s emergence as a student leader in the European country, Governor Radda noted that the feat has positively projected the image of Katsina, in the diaspora.
He said: “This milestone achieved by Usman Arab has not only attracted fame, prestige and honour to him, it also shined a positive light on our dear State.
“The historic election of Arab further demonstrates that our beloved Katsina State is home to exceptional talents, who can excel on the international stage, if giving the opportunity”.
Special Assistant on Students’ Matters to the Katsina State Governor, Muhammad Nagaske, who relayed the news of Arab’s election to Malam Dikko Radda, said he has been diligently overseeing the welfare and interests of Katsina students in Nigeria,
and abroad, since his appointment.
“In a discussion I recently had with Mr. Arab, I expressed the unwavering commitment of Governor Radda’s administration to supporting students from Katsina State in their pursuit of educational opportunities abroad,” he said.
