Governor Otu Condoles with Katsina Counterpart, Radda, Over Mother’s Death

Cross River State Governor, Senator Bassey Edet Otu, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Hajiya Safara’u Umaru Barebari, the mother of Katsina State Governor, Dikko Umaru Radda.

In governor Otu in a condolence message by his Press Secretary, Nsa Gill and made available to TMSnews, conveyed his heartfelt sympathies to Governor Radda, his family, and the people of Katsina State, describing the late Hajiya Safara’u as a pillar of support, a source of wisdom, and a mother to all.

“I received with deep sadness the news of the passing of your beloved mother, Hajiya Safara’u Umaru Barebari. I can only imagine the profound sense of loss you and your family must be experiencing at this difficult time,” Governor Otu said.

He further described her as a woman who lived a life of humility and generosity, always ensuring that those around her were cared for. “Her kindness and selflessness will forever be remembered and cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her,” he added.

Governor Otu assured his Katsina counterpart of his prayers and support, asking Almighty God to grant the deceased eternal rest and give the family the strength to bear the irreparable loss.

On behalf of the government and people of Cross River State, Governor Otu extended his deepest condolences to Governor Radda and the people of Katsina State.
