GOV. Sule donates N3m cash to Families of slain Police Officers, urges Prudent management

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has donated three million naira to the slained police officers who liss their lives while on the line of dury.
Presenting the cash donation on behalf of the governor, the Commissioner of Police, Nasarawa State Command, CP Shetima Jauro Mohammed, in a statement by the Public Relations Officer of the command, SP Nansel Nanham said the donation was meant to cushion the effect of hardship brought to the families due to the untimely dead of their brain winners.
“The donation of the sum of one million naira each to the families of three police officers who lost their lives in the line of duty in December last year at Garaku, Kokona Local Government Area of the state”.
“The gesture, is aimed at cushioning the impact of the tragic loss, underscores the state government’s commitment to the welfare of security personnel and their families’ the statement added.
Presenting the cash donation to the beneficiaries, CP Shetima Jauro Mohammed, expressed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and to the Inspector-General of Police. He encouraged the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the funds to cater for the families and improving their well-being.
The Commissioner commended the Governor for his unwavering support, compassion, and service to humanity, noting that such acts of generosity go a long way in boosting the morale of officers serving in the state.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Mrs. Sadiq Khadijat expressed profound gratitude to Governor Abdullahi A. Sule for the kind gesture and assured that the funds would be used judisciouly.
