German Chancellor Olef Scholz Lands in Nigeria to Forge Diplomatic Ties

His Excellency Olef Scholz Germany’s Chancellor, who embarked on an official visit to strengthen diplomatic relations between Nigeria and Germany arrived the country Sunday,October 29, 2023.

The distinguished statesman’s aircraft touched down at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja at approximately 2:20 PM Nigerian time, marking the start of this crucial international mission.

The Chancellor received a gracious reception, with His Excellency Nyesom Wike, the Honorable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, representing Nigerian President Tinubu.

The welcome ceremony took place at the esteemed Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport and was attended by a notable gathering of high-ranking Nigerian government officials, emphasizing the significance of this diplomatic visit.
