State Chairman of the party, Hon Francis Orogu speaking to Journalists in Lafia while reacting to the president approval explained that the conversion of special hospital was not only timely but an intervention that would address and tackle the medical challenges citizens were facing in the state.

“With the approval given by the federal government, Nasarawa state will begin to have the lives of their loved ones saved, have qualified doctors to provide quality services and other qualified medical personnels to provide the people with required attention”, Orogu stated.

“We have suffered enough in Nasarawa state due to absence of qualified and functional medical facilities. A situation where qualified doctors are leaving the state in their numbers either due to poor renumerations, non functional hospitals and unconducive working environment was becoming too hopeless for the people” Orogu declared.

“President Tinubu has not only demonstrated commitment to saving lives in our state, but his action is in recognition of the long sufferings of the people of Nasarawa state medically. We have to commend Tinubu at this point irrespective of political differences we are happy with the development in Nasarawa state”.

Orogu who believed that the teaching hospital would provide enabling environments for the training of more qualified doctors and other medical personnel urged the state government to urgently provide more functional medical facilities especially in the royal areas to address the prevailing qualified man power to address the health challenges in the state.

“This upgrade is not only a saving grace in our healthcare sector but admittance of the long sufferings and lost of lives as a result of near absence of health care services in our dear state. President Tinubu’s vision and response is in line with the yearning and aspirations of the people for medical and functional hospitals in Nasarawa state.
