For over two decades his influence loomes large, building institutions, humans and cults. For over two decades, he bestrode the golden horse of Lagos and rode on it with an uncommon discretion, uncensored and unquestioned by any mortal.

The Amadioha(god of thunder) that strikes ailing tongues against him. The Ala ogbaga(deity) that controls destinies, dishes out wrath, punishment as he pleases and rewards those he considers by his judgment as good and loyal.

The gods have blessed him with such a stupendous wealth, his lineage to the tenth generation wouldn’t suffer lack or abject poverty.

Their ways paved already with gold and their destiny marbled with diamond; the breed and species of humans, one can paint on the canvas of life with the title “behold the beloved of the gods whose palm kernels were broken through the benevolence of the gods.

Not that it was alleged that he used his money to buy both the presidential jet of N150billion and N1.4 billion presidential car that this musing was activated. No! I already knew it. He is capable to run the economy of Nigeria through his deep pockets.

Is he rich? No he isn’t. Is he wealthy? He is not. Seeing him in such a light of limited weath would of course be an aberration to the ocean of wealth granted to him by the gods through the tools, channels, platforms and instruments of governance.

Yes he can single handedly run Nigeria economy. It is called giving back to the society or tithing to the source that has given one so much to be chronicled.

He is not alone! They are legion in this category of people whose bread was buttered by the gods, giving them the power uncommon to fetch water with basket in an economy where many with buckets hadly get as little as a litre of water.

Nigeria has been so milked and impoverished by these leaders. Sustaining her economy in this fledgling situation wouldn’t create any hole in their pockets.

I recently heard one of the states governors bragging
how uncorrupt he was. He even had the temerity to challenge his audience to acuse him of any corruption. Sadly they all kept straight faces. No clap, no smiles and no expression of positive or disapproving emotions.

Who would accuse him? Who would dare the bask of Crocodiles? The Quiver of Cobras? The Parliament of Owls? And the drift of pigs in a game that is more like their second nature?

Nigeria is not poor. She is broke. She is endowed by nature and cannot be poor. Sadly, her being broke wasn’t a function of nature, rather a function of the barefaced insensitive stealing of these quiver of Cobras in the garments of political class.

Get ten governors presently serving or served, a superficial dip into their pockets can make the financial dry bones of Nigeria come alive immediately with a skin that glows and glitters.

Jokes apart, with no mischief Intended, Nigeria economy has been so raped and robed by politicians, any insinuation that they can either collectively or individually run the economy from their pockets should not be seen as flying the kit. It is real and the reality cannot be more true or false than stated .

If only they can come together to restitute, their woes and agony may be reduced when the trumpet blast.
