FCT: Aguma-Abbatoir Road In Gwagwalada In Deplorable Condition

The deplorable condition of the Aguma-Abbatoir road in New Kutunku, Gwagwalada Area Council of the FCT is begining to give residents of the area a sleepless night.

One of the Concerned Residents, Hon.

Suleiman Ibrahim -Barde who spoke with newsmen on the condition of the road, expressed concern over its total collapse.

According to him, the condition of the road has become so bad that motorists find it difficult to ply.

Hon. Ibrahim Barde, therefore, appealed to the Federal Capital Development Authority, FCDA, to expedite action in rehabilitation of township roads in Gwagwalada as most off the roads have collapsed thereby making life more difficult for residents.

In his words, “the bad condition of FRCN – Market Road, Aguma – Abbatoir Road in Old and New Kutunku and other township roads have been affecting socioeconomic activities in the area hence the need for FCDA to do something about them”
