El-rufai Worries Over Voter Apathy In Kaduna

Governor of Kaduna state, Nasir El-rufai, has expressed concerned over voter apathy in the state, especially among women.

The Governor, while waiting to cast his vote, urged the electorate to come out en-mass to exercise their right by voting candidates of their choice.

El-rufai who waited for hours on the queue to cast his vote disclosed this at PU 024 ward 7 Unguwar Sarki, Kaduna, where he said that there are reported cases of Biomodel Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) in the state.

While speaking, the Governor however, explained that a BVAS machine was snatched at the Southern part of the state, just as he also said that two other incidents happened within the state.

El-rufai who commended electoral umpire for adequate preparations, added that police are investigating the incidents.

Though, the Governor didn’t mention the locations of the other incidents.
