Edify Yakusak Launches Her Third Book As Former SGF Recommends It For Every Family
Edify Yakusak has launched her third book titled “On A Day Like This”.
On the occasion in Abuja, the Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr Boss Mustapha commended Edify Yakusak for her determination, resilience and focus since she first launched her first book in 2016.
Mr Mustapha who described Edify Yakusak as a fantastic creative and talented writer advised her not to relent in contributing her quota to the growth of the nation’s literary and arts sector.
While advising Nigerians to develop keen interest in reading, the former SGF described the book “On A Day Like This” as a good material for every family as the book swelled on good family virtues.
“Most of the crisis we have in Nigeria is as a result of breakdown in family values, every criminal you see on the streets comes from a home, so we need major orientation and paradime shift to get back to the adherence of our family values and those are the issues that have been addressed in this book hence the need for every family to get copies of the book towards ensuring a better society” Boss Mustapha added
In a remark, the former Executive Director/CEO , Nigeria Export Promotion Council, NEPC, Mr Olusegun Awolowo congratulated Edify Yakusak for yet another feat and encourage her not to relent in harnessing her God’s giving talent in blessing humanity through books writing.
Mr Olusegun Awolowo who landed the father of the Author and immediate past ED/CEO of Nigeria Export Promotion Council, NEPC, Dr Ezra Yakusak for always supporting her daughter in the art of book writing enjoined other Authors to always give priority to issues that would elevate the people and the country while carrying out their activities in the creative industry.
Also speaking, the former Director General, Small and Medium Enterprises Development’ Agency of Nigeria, SMEDAN, Dr Wale Fasanya equally congratulated the Author and her parents Dr and Mrs Ezra Yakusak for the remarkable book publication.
Dr Fasanya stressed the need for parents to always support their children in the quest to realize their dreams in life.
On his part, the Director, Legal Service Department, Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, Barrister Francis Folorunsho equally felicitated with the Author and the parents for the book launch.
In their sperate presentation, some of the Book Reviewers, Dina Wudiri, Daniel Aboh, Miracle Joshua and Ike God described the 289 pages book “On A Day Like This” as a masterpiece due to its artistry, imagination, creativity and residence of human spirit contained in it
According to them, the book is informing, educating and entertaining and advised other young women and female writers to emulate her through art of writing books.
In her vote of thanks, the Author, Edify Yakusak said the book was written towards correcting the disfunctional situation in every family
Edify Yakusak expressed the hope that the book would go a long way in resuscitating family values and promote Nigerian culture towards ensuring a better society.
