Don’t lose hope in Nigeria, our successes in 2023 remains our focus ahead 2027 ****Be weary of fifth colonists in Nasarawa, Nigeria —Nasarawa PDP Chair

The People’s Democratic party PDP Chairman in Nasarawa state, Hon. Francis Orogu has appealed to Nigerians not to lose hope despite the dounting challenges facing the citizens in the country.

Orogu in an Easter message to Christians and other Nigerians as they commemorate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, charged all Nigerians to remain focused, committed and steadfast in line with the virtues of Christ who sacrifice himself for the sake of mankind.

“Our country is no doubt going through a turbulent moment that has called for collective sacrifice especially from the leaders saddled with the responsibility of protecting and providing for the citizenry”.

“Government in power must prioritize the welfare and wellbeing of its citizens, stop paying lip service to the plight of the people”, Orogu state.

The astitude politician and a philanthropist said Easter should remind all Nigerians respective of social standing, religion and political interest to live a sacrificial lives emulation of the life of Jesus Christ and urged members of the people’s Democratic party in Nasarawa and at the National level to be weary of fifth columnists in the party.

Orogu however assured that the successes made in 2023 would remain the focused direction ahead of 2027 adding that what the nation needed at this trying moment is dedication, sincerely of purpose, unity, oneness and togetherness.

“We should be working to build our country with God fearing leaders prepared to sacrifice for the progress and prospects of our nation. Nigerians because we have suffered enough from insecurity, banditry, kidnapping and other forms of criminality” Hon. Orogu declared.

“I want to use this auspicious moment to urged our people to be weary of the fifth columnists in our state Nasarawa and the Nation as a whole especially the PDP members in the interest of our people.

He also urged Nigerians to be vigilant and be community keepers rather than being indifferent to issues and threats to our humanity otherwise the lessons of this period would have been in vain for mankind, and every Nigerian citizen who has the natural rights to peaceful existence and quality life.

“At this period when we celebrate the death and resuration of Christ, I appeal to all Nigerians, particularly those feeling aggrieved aggrieved to have a rethink. God does not support the shedding of human life in resolving disputes. Every life is sacred and, most thus, be respected. Continuous bloodshed is not the solution to our problems. Rather, it leaves agony, pains and increases people’s anger”

He called on all Nigerians not to lose hope but to continue to wait on God in prayer for lasting peace despite all tribulation, provocation, deprivations, denials that trail their ways in 2023, urging Christians to further see Easter celebration as a time to engage in a deep sober reflection and remedy of the past
