Don’t Despise Little Beginning, Start Something Reasonable – Ahmed Usman

The Chairman of Igala Cultural and Development, ICDA, Federal Capital Territory and Surrounding Towns, Alhaji Ahmed Usman has call on the youths to start something useful that can solve their immediate financial needs now while looking for or preparing and getting ready for a better opportunity.

He made the call in Abuja on Saturday, November 23rd, 2024 during the executive meeting.

Ahmed said this advice is important now that things are hard, noting the increasing economic hardship that is taking tolls on common Nigerians on a daily basis.

Ahmed said, “The economic hardship is taking toll on everybody and you should not stay idle waiting for the perfect job.

“If the job you are looking for is not available, do the available job while you keep going and preparing for a better opportunity and better future, so far the job is legal and decent”

He further revealed that some people that did not despise little beginning and starts off as security guard, driver, etc., are now doing well as they are now in better places. Their lives has improve while some of them are in their own house.

He also, underscore the importance of academic advancement while in pursuit of daily sustenance as he attribute promotion in life to advancement in academic qualification..

“Anything you are doing, also pursue more academic qualification. This will ensure your preparedness towards a better opportunity in life.”

“But the bottom line is that you should not be lazy and idle. You should be doing something decent and legal that can fetch you a living, not minding little beginning”, Ahmed continued.

He further reiterated his commitment to the progress of ICDA charging everybody to bring positive ideas that can move the social-cultural group forward.

Also at the meeting, the Youth Leader, Honourable Ibrahim Musa emphasise the importance of restructuring ICDA for maximum benefits.

He sought for better coordination, diligent and due process, saying that every Igala sons and daughters can reap better benefit if everything is put in the right position.

Musa assures of bringing his wealth of experience as FCT All Progressive Congress, APC Youths Leader to bear in the discharge of his duty as ICDA Youth Leader.
