LAFIA– THE ruling All Progressives Congress, (APC) in Nasarawa State has challenged the opposition People’s Democratic party PDP to work toward winning the next months’ elections rather than heaping their failure on the governor, government and APC in the state.

Spokesperson for the rulling APC, Chief Douglas Otaru stated this while reacting to allegations by the opposition PDP that officials of government were forcing retirees and other residents to exchange PVC for pension payment,

This is even as the party has disassociated itself from the woes of the opposition PDP saying it was not part of the party’s failure in Nasarawa state.

The image maker of the party described the allegations by the opposition PDP as baseless, unfounded and calculated attempts to smear the hard earned image of APC as well mislead the law abiding citizens of the state.

According to him, the political space is large enough for all the political parties to showcase their potentials, policies and programmes to win election”.

He urged Nigerians to disregard the sinking ship of the opposition and prepare themselves to vote APC in the next month general elections.

It would be recalled that the opposition PDP had on Monday alleged that government officials in Nasarawa state are going round collecting the Voters Vin Number that is on PVC of pensioners in a form designed by agent’s of the state as condition for payment of their pensions and gratuities.
